It sounded less hurried and you definitely get a male voice. I looped this latest sound file, pitch shifted down 2.0 stops and tempo slowed down to 0.935x (116 BPM) and it sounds more realistic than any other tweaks I had attempted. This new tempo put me at 0.935x of the original sound file (124 BPM), which is 115.94 or 116 BPM. I took the original sound file, saved it with the pitch at 2 stops down and sped it up to 1.10x, then saved it again as 0.85x. I agree with this by ear, the original tempo of the music sounds rushed and vocals come off too cutesy or mawkish. But it sounded like it was playing too slow, the music was a tad lethargic.Ī person commented that the BPM of the original sound file was 124 BPM, suggesting that it was recorded faster than it should be and recommended playback at 120 BPM. Taking the original the pitch down 2 stops and slowing it down to 0.85x (~105 BPM) makes for an interesting listen, it sounds like a male singing. You’re counting all the shapes in the sky, Its heavily common for Internet Archive search to literally have nothing about what your talking about again due to the sheer amount of archives on there. "your", "carrying", "all", "the", "sheeps", "in", "the", "sky"Īnd checks if each word was contained in the website which could be why a lyrics website came up (again im not 100% but this most likely whats going on)Īgain this is mostly a theory but from my tests i've done this seems like the case and im 99% sure theres other factors going into the result thats given to you but this seems like one of them or it could be something else thats bugging the search up (mostly due to the huge amount of data they have it would take ages to look through everything they could be taking shortcuts or is doing something thats less hard on their servers). "your carrying all the sheeps in the sky" There seems to be something with Internet Archive checking if the website has the line that you provided it seems to be checking if each word is on the website and something else thats being checked to give you that result. Thank you for the effort but from what i've seen the Internet Archive has some sort of tricky fuzzy search going on. We know the song is in english, but this could help us locate the artist easier knowing their ethnicity. Ulterior motive and "Carrying on his shoe" (which i think it sounds like) are both chinese idioms.Ī lot have mentioned the singer sounding somewhat foreign, which could infer that they could be of chinese descent. Help me out and try to find more info on this company! Could be a lead. Maybe this song was used as a promotion for this line on radio/tv in the 90's. The only thing that confirms it is the vintage sellers who actually sell the clothing on poshmark and other sites. However, i can't find legit any info about, relating to, or that the company even existed. Link to an example below: if you search "ulterior motives clothing" you can easily find many dresses, Yo whats up yall, thought i would come on here since nobody responding to my youtube comments, sadly.ġst idea: NWT UM & Company by Ulterior Motives (Dress line in 1990's) There is still hope that MTV still has archives, maybe we could email them about it idk? MTV used to archive like r325ecord told but they seemed to have removed literally everything including VH1 Classic shows, which I know were archived due to the official website that was there during its existance now redirects to (mtv.com/shows/vh1) something like that. It seems like this Alternative show wasnt that popular and didn't do that well which caused it to be discontinued (or there is a very rare chance that they literally ran out of obscure music videos which i highly doubt) I asked on a reddit (r/everyoneknowsthat) about this as well as this VH1 Classic channel, Basically Ziggo is a broadcasting service thats popular in the Netherlands and ZiggoGo is basically the streaming service instead of an archive of MTV like I hoped. The program was called The 80s Alternative which basically showed alternative and obscure videos from the 80s, Theres also the same exact program but for 90s called The 90s Alternative There used to be a program in a channel called VH1 Classic Europe which is owned by MTV (European_TV_channel)
